The Advancing & Redefining Communities for Emergency Management (ARC) Conference annually bestows an individual (or organization) with the Innovator of the Year Award. This award recognizes an innovator executing activities that advance emergency/disaster readiness and preparedness in ground-breaking ways.
Nominees will be judged on the impact of their work in improving community resiliency. Meritorious contributions emphasize the application of evidence-based programming and tools for staff training and development, evaluation, and other related areas at the local, state, national, or global level.
Self-nominations are accepted.
Nominations for ARC Conference 2017 are due Friday, September 1, 2017. Nominees will be notified of decision mid-October 2017. The winner will be acknowledged at the 8th Annual ARC Conference in November 2017 in San Diego, CA.
